Meet The Farm Crew
"Scarlet"
Scarlet Seven Heaven aka "Scarlet" is a Red bay Appendix Quarter Horse (1/2 Thoroughbred) who was born at our farm on May 1, 2019 to Mama Deeps! She is our FIRST home bred foal, sired by local Quarter Horse stallion Haidas Seven Heaven, a grandson of Playgun!
Scarlet is curious, kind and loves to meet new people and have attention. She has training under saddle but has mostly been growing up and learning how to be a good (and patient) citizen.
"Deep Suspicion"
Deep Suspicion aka "Mama Deeps" is a brown bay OTTB (Off Track Thoroughbred) mare. She is by the (late) famous stallion Kentucky Derby winner Fusaichi Pegasus. Deeps enjoys her life as a broodmare with some occasional rides mixed in. You will see pictures of Deeps with "Scarlet" (born 2019 - lives here), "Leo" (born 2021 - now living in IL) and "Titan" (born 2023 - now living in OH). She also has a few older foals that were winners on the track! We plan for her to have a foal arriving in 2025.
Deeps is very smart sweet and sensitive toward humans, is boss of the herd and is a GREAT mama. She loves attention and treats!
"Meant to Be a Gun"
Meant To Be A Gun aka "Remington" is a miracle baby that was born to our farm on May 21, 2024 to Miss Catherine. He survived a dystocia birth (he was not positioned correctly to come out) and was delivered at Stillwater Equine Veterinary Center under anesthesia, and was then transferred to the University of MN NICU. After 3 days in their excellent care, he came home with a perfect bill of health!
"Remi" is a sweet and handsome bay colt and is AQHA Appendix Registered. He has some amazing bloodlines that we know will serve him well! He is looking for his forever person and home. "Remi" is a Horse Time favorite and loves to meet new people.
"Miss Catherine"
Miss Catherine aka "Miss C" is a bay OTTB (Off Track Thoroughbred) mare who joined us in March of 2024. She is by the (late) famous stallion Kentucky Derby winner Fusaichi Pegasus! Our knowledge is limited of Miss C's life prior to coming to us. She was purchased at an auction in March 2024, already in foal and very under weight on arrival to us. She has spent her days enjoying the best care possible as a broodmare. Miss C delivered a handsome bay colt "Meant to Be a Gun" on May 21, 2024 - bravely surviving a dystocia birth (baby not positioned correctly) and delivery under anesthesia. She loved her baby and was a wonderful mother to him. Miss C was VERY sweet and quiet, loving attention and her life here!
"Thea" and "Casper"
Thea and Casper are the resident barn cats! Thea has white whiskers and a lot more white than her brother. Casper is more outgoing and tends to drool. Both are VERY friendly and will love to meet you!
"Cocoa" and "Jax"
Our resident dogs are Cocoa (black with floppy ears) and Jax (tan with pointed ears). Cocoa is a female shepherd mix and was adopted from RPAW in 2017 as a very young puppy. Jax is a male shepherd mix who was adopted from MARS in 2015 at about 7 months old. Both of the dogs are shown in the St. Croix County 4-H Dog Project by our girls and love people. They can be a bit slow to warm up to adults, so please let them come to you!
We also occasionally foster dogs for local rescue(s).
In Loving Memory
"Rafftin" was my once in a lifetime heart horse. I got Rafftin when I was only 13 years old. He saw me through all of my adventures and life changes in our 24 years together! He was a classy and funny guy, a benevolent herd leader and a true escape artist! He knew me better than I knew myself. Rafftin lived out his final years on our own farm, just like we always talked about growing up, giving first rides and horsey love to another generation of horse lovers - my girls. He was the best. Rafftin will be forever remembered and missed...
"Sally"
Tari Bar Phoenix aka "Sally" was a Horse Time Favorite and will be GREATLY missed. Sally was our Red roan Quarter Horse mare who came to the farm in 2018 as a horse for then 9yr old daughter Ivy to ride and love. She was the oldest herd mate at age 24 and had been retired from riding for a few years due to arthritis. She still got around and LOVED visiting with people of all ages, ALL forms of attention and any kind of touch - pets, pats, scratches or rubs. She will be remembered for her many funny "scratch right there" faces and the comfort she gave to those she met. Fly high, run fast and free Sally girl!
- You'll forever be missed...

"Blue"
Blue was also a Horse Time favorite and will be GREATLY missed. She was our Blue roan Quarter Horse mare who came to the farm in 2019 as a horse for then 8 yr old daughter Ellie to ride. Her estimated age was around 20 - her younger life is unknown as she was saved from a kill pen by her previous owner. Blue has been retired from riding for a couple of years due to arthritis in her feet, but still enjoyed time with people young and old. She had a very sweet and funny personality, but was always a very patient girl. Blue loved attention and adored everyone she met. We miss you, Blue!!!
